“Faithful Kids”
GMU Christian Education Research Center
Empowering Korean immigrant families to raise their children in faith through congregation support and inclusive church communities where every family belongs.
Bridging Faith and Family
Welcome to “Faithful Kids” GMU Christian Education Research Center!
The Faithful Kids Christian Education Research Center at Grace Mission University (GMU) was established as part of the Christian Parenting and Caregiving Initiative (CPCI), a project supported by a grant from Lilly Endowment Inc.
Through CPCI, GMU is deeply committed to strengthening faith formation within Korean immigrant families. We pay particular attention to the unique intergenerational and cultural challenges faced by Korean American Christian households, helping parents and caregivers grow together with their children in faith through practical resources, guidance, and supportive faith communities.
In addition, we are dedicated to creating ASD-friendly church environments where every family is valued, included, and supported.
We serve as a vital bridge between scholarly research and real-world family ministry, ensuring every family feels loved and supported in their faith journey regardless of unique challenges they may face.
